How does it work
You can now shop on Gleam Point without a Bank or Credit Card. Thanks to SCode, you can now shop on our website without entering your card details or paying via instant EFT. SCode Billing uses a simple barcode, printed on accounts and invoices, to enable you to pay it across a national network of over 6000 physical retail payment outlets.
Step 1.
Once you’ve finished your shopping online, proceed to checkout, choose payfast payment gateway and select SCode as your payment option from there
Step 3.
Take the printed SCode Barcoded Invoice or SMS to the Money Market counter or at the Cashier at the South African Post Office
Step 5.
Choose to pay using Cash, Debit Card or Credit Card – whatever is most convenient for you!
Step 2.
Choose whether you want to receive a SCode SMS Short-Code or SCode Print Invoice via email. Then click ‘I WILL MAKE PAYMENT’ button.
Step 4.
The Cashier will scan the barcode or type in the SCode in your SMS and request payment.
Step 6.
Once you’ve paid, a receipt will be issued. SCode immediately notifies us (Gleam Point) that payment has been made and your order is dispatched – It’s as easy as that!!
SCode Payments
With SCode you can pay for your online purchases using cash, debit or credit card at selected physical stores across South Africa.
When you are ready to checkout and pay you will be redirected to PayFast, you will then need to enter your email address or cell phone number. Once you’ve done this you will choose the SCode payment option.
You will then see the selected stores where you can make payment. Click the ‘I WILL MAKE PAYMENT’ button.
You will then receive an SMS code or an email with a barcode
(If you entered your email in step 1 you’ll receive an email. If you entered your mobile number you’ll receive an SMS).
Print your email or take your mobile phone with the SMS with you to your preferred store to make payment. The email and SMS code will only be valid for 7 days.

You can currently pay at Shoprite, Checkers, Checkers Hyper, House & Home, OK Furniture and USave at the Money Market kiosks and at the Tellers at the South African Post Office.
There is no cost to use SCode to pay for your online purchases.
Yes, you can use cash, debit or a credit card to make a payment.
Once you have made a payment, you will be issued with a receipt of purchase.
Keep your receipt as proof of payment – once you have received your purchases, it can discarded.
You will have 4 working days to make payment after ordering online.
